equipment and materials as are deemed necessary to accomplish the above
purposes.
The organization was incorporated under the Society
Act of British Columbia on June 27, 1986 and is a registered charity under
the Canada Income Tax Act. Some of the programs that the PCDA uses to carry
out this mission include:
a) The Menno
Simons Centre: a residence for approximately 20 Christian
students who are either in or interested in the Mennonite community of
dialogue can live together while attending the University of B.C. or
Regent College.
b) The Abendmusik Vesper Choir:
an ensemble of approximately 20 singers from the Lower Mainland and
Fraser Valley. The choir gives evening services at Thanksgiving, Advent
and Lent where we provide an opportunity to worship and meditate with
music, spoken word and silence
c) other programs for students such as evening lecture series,
Faith & Life Integration projects, etc.

annual membership fee is $20 for adults or $10 for students (no discount for teachers or seniors).
You can pay and renew automatically each year using your Visa (the
charge on your credit card will be from "SPORG.COM"; no Amex/MasterCard) or you can mail
a cheque to the PCDA after
registering using Sporg. Your personal information is kept
confidential and secure, as described by the privacy
policies of the PCDA
and
Sporg.
As a member in good standing of the PCDA, you
will be entitled to vote on all resolutions at the Annual General
Meeting (AGM) scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the MSC chapel on Tuesday
September 19, 2006. Your participation will result in the election
of directors & officers as well as establishing new programs,
operating policies and other strategic decisions. |
